İbrahim eh-Ahmedi (d.815-1412) was one of the ulema of the period of Bayezid I. He is from Germiyan and studied there and in Cairo. He completed this work in 792 (1389-90). It is completely different from Nizami's İskendername. The work is by Hammer in the 57th volume of Jahrbücker, and Gesch. says Osm. Collected in Dichtkunst, I, p.92. According to Tahir Bey, Ahmedi died in Amasya in 815 (1412-13). According to Blochet, this work consists of a moderate imitation of Nizami's İskender-name. In his work, Ahmedi makes a philosophical dissertation about the world and man and narrates the history of the Eastern world from the creation to Alexander from the mouth of Aristotle. Apart from this, he adds a lot of Islamic information that has nothing to do with Alexander.
