Notes Two title pages and a spreadsheet are beautifully illuminated, with blue headings. It has a cherry leather binding with gilding, relief gilding and borders, and the inside of the covers have carved sunbursts and corners. It is a great work of Sufi and moral verse. Its author is Abu 'l-Mavdud Muhammed b., one of the first Islamic mystics. It belongs to Adem Hakim Sana'i (d.545/around 1150-1151). It is sometimes called Kitab al-Fahri or Fahri-name, as it is briefly called in Hadika. It has a prose muqkadime on its head.
