Notes It is written in beautiful talik on the page. The layout is illuminated, the rulers are gilded. Red leather and wire cloth binding. It is a treatise written by Royini (?), an Italian writer, in Istanbul in 1215 (1800-01) about treatment with mudavati basita, that is, treatment with single drugs. The identity of this Italian doctor and how his name was written could not be determined. Although the person who translated it has not been found, it is possible that it was Hekimbaşı Mustafa Behcet Efendi.
