| Notes | The layout is illuminated, the rulers are in gilt and blue. Marbled binding with cherry rotten leather michelle around it. It is the divan containing Persian poems of Yavuz Sultan Selim (918/1512-926/1520), who compiled Salimi; Y.1b Munacat, nait and kasides. There are Ghazals in Y.7a. His Divan was published in Berlin in 1904, and his Persian poems were translated by Şeyh Vasfi under the title Harika and published in Istanbul in 1308. See Rieu, 659b. |
