| Notes | In Y.1b and 2a, Surah Al-Fatiha and the beginning of Surah Al-Baqara are written on two exquisitely illuminated plates. The heads of the surahs, the titles of the prostrations, etc., the roses, the illuminations, the rulers and the stops are gilded. Y.444b also has a colorful bunch of flowers. Finally, there are Arabic treatises on industrial Qur'an and recitation. Cherry rotten leather binding with miklep, inscription and embossed sunburst. See Tuhfe, p.755. |
