| Notes | The first four pages, the manuscript, the last four pages and the sura heads and roses are exquisitely illuminated, the stops and tables are gilded. It was dedicated to Ravza-i mutahhara by Muhyiddin Evrengzîb Alemgîr (1069/1659-1118/1707), one of the Mongol Emperors of India. At the end there is the hatim prayer and Persian fortune telling from the Quran. Brown leather binding with sunburst and inscription, which has been heavily repaired. The last leaves are torn. |
