It is the report of Mehmed Sa'id Efenidi, who went to Lehisten to inform the king of the ascension of Sultan Mahmud I (1730-1754) in I.Y.1b. II. In Y.3b, on the 18th day of Jumadelula in the year 1145 (1732-1733), Mehmed Sa'id Efendi, who was an officer on the Swedish side, has a record. This person is Mehmed Sa'id (d.1175/1759-1760), son of Yirmisekiz Çelebi Mehmed Fa'izi Efenidi, who was the ambassador to Paris in 1154 (1741-1742). See S.O., III, 29. |
