| Notes | It was built in the 18th century by Şuyolcu-zade Mehmed Necip (d. 1117/1705-1706). It has been copied for centuries. The layout, illuminations, and rulers are gilded. Dark brown leather binding with miklep şemse and gusset. It is the tevsian translation of the Arabic work called Minhac es-Sülûk ila edeb chat el-müluk by Mustafa Ali (d. 1008/1599-1600). The work is divided into 15 chapters and is dedicated to Damad İbrahim Pasha, the Conqueror of Heraklion. See O.M., III, 91. |
