| Notes | In Y.1b and 2a, there are two plates within an ornamented frame, the width of the entire page, inside which there is an Arabic Kufic script indicating the number of surahs in the Quran, and on the page 2a, information about the tefe'ul-i Kur'an is given in Persian with two lines of naskh. The surah heads, roses and pauses are gilded. Endings Y.272b and 273a have two illuminated panels in the same style, one with a ketaba and the other with a verse prayer consisting of four Arabic couplets. Microbleached cherry rot leather binding. |
