| Notes | The layout is illuminated, the rulers are gilded, all the page edges are decorated with rings. It contains miniatures of 27 sultans, from Sultan Osman to Abdulhamid I, of no great value. Cherry rotten leather binding with miklep sunburst and gussets. It is a short Ottoman history by Osman-zade Ahmed Ta'ib (d.1136/1723-1724) until the reign of Mustafa III. Pictures and information about the reign of Abdulhamid I were added later. See O.M., II, 116. |
