| Notes | At the beginning of the mushaf, Abû Amr Osman b.Sa'id b. Osman ad-Dani (d.444/1053) has a work called Kitab at-Taysir about recitation seba. The text of the Quran starts from Y.17a. There are illuminated medallions in Y.1a, 17a and 262b. It is said that the last medallion was written for the library of Malik Zahir. In A.D. 263, there is a treatise called Bab Zikr at-takbir fi qira'at Ibn Kasir. Surah heads are red. There are annotations about the recitation written in red on the edges. Microbleached cherry rot leather binding. |
