| Notes | There are 9 miniatures in the Ottoman style. Nadiri's name is Mehmed b. Abdulgani Emirşah. He was born in Istanbul in 980 (1572-73) and was a student of Hodja Sa'deddin Efendi. After becoming a teacher, he was promoted to Rumelian judge and died in Istanbul in 1036 (1626-27). Apart from his divan, he has a Mi'raciye of 800 couplets, an Ottoman history in verse in the style of a masnavi, and an annotation to the Beyzavi commentary. |
