It was built by Shah Mahmud Nishaburi during the reign of Shah Isma'il Safavi.
There are five manuscript sheets, two zahriye sheets, and 74 beautiful page-sized miniatures in the style of the Safavid school. The chapter heads and rulers are illuminated and colorful.
Mahzan al-asrar in I.Y.2b. This Sufiyane masnavi, which contains twenty articles, was written in 572 or 573 (1176-1178) and was dedicated to Sultan Bahramşah.
His obvious masnavi named Husrav-u Şirin in II.Y.42b. III.Y. His lyrical masnavi named Layla-u Macnun was published in 142b and was compiled in 584 (1188) and presented to Sultan Abu'l-Muzaffer Shirvanshah. His masnavi named Haft Paykar was published in IV.Y.211b and was dedicated to Atabag Nur ad-Din Arslan in 593 (1197). It is the first part of his masnavi named Iskandar-name in V.Y.289b and was probably written in 597 (1200-1201) and was dedicated to Nuşrat ad-Din, the successor of Kızıl Arslan. VI. In A.D. 393b, there is a poem called Hirad-name or Şaraf-name-i İskandari, which is the second part of the İskendar-name masnavi.
