Notes Rulers red, Dark red leather binding. This masnavi is the work of Sheikh al-Islam Akhisarlı Vşşaf Abdullah Efendi, who uses the pseudonym Abdi. This person is from the descendants of Jesus from Saruhan. He became Shaykh al-Islam in 1169 (1754-55) and died in 1174 (1760-61). The subject of this work, which is this story, is a ruler named Shah Mes'ud, the Emir of Morocco, who takes Chasar's son Tayyar captive, and after giving Islamic education in his palace, this young hero resigns from his father's hometown and brings his severed head to Mas'ud, and the Shah gives him his daughter.
