| Notes | The layout is illuminated, the rulers are gilded. Brown leather binding with mitres and corners. The author of Mevlid is Süleyman Çelebi's father, Ahmed Pasha from Murad I, and his grandfather, Şeyh Mahmud Efendi. They were the imam of Yıldırım Bayezid and the disciple of Emir Sultan. He is considered one of the founders of Turkish poetry. His Mawlid poem was finished in 812 (1409-10) and he died in 825 (1421-22). |
