This book of interpretations, whose real name is Vefayat el-a'yan fi enba'i ebna az-zaman, was written by Şemseddin Ahmed b. It is the work of Muhammed İbn Hallikan (d.681/1282-1283). In 1087 (1676), by the order of Grand Vizier Kara Mustafa Pasha, Mehmed b. It was carefully translated by Mehmed Rodosi-zade.
