Notes The layout is illuminated, the rulers are gilded. There are 12 miniature paintings in the Herat school style in Y.1b,2a,7b,24a,39a,57b,81b,112a,124b,151a,170b,180b. The cover of the miklep lacquered binding has sunbursts and corners on the outside and miniatures on the inside of the lacquer. It has the seal of Osman II. Mir Ali Şir Neva'i was born in Herat in 844 (1440-41), he was the vizier of Hüseyn Baykara for a while, then he left this duty with his consent and was busy with the training and education of the princes. He died in Heratta 906 (1500-01). It has four divans in the Chagatai dialect. These are grouped under the following names according to various periods of his life. Gara'ib ash-Shigar, Nevadir ash-Shabab, Beda'i ul-vasat and Feva'id ul Kiber.
