There are 12 title pages richly illuminated, all the words are illuminated in the same way, the tables are colored and gilded. There are 26 miniatures from the Timurid period.
This poet, whose name is Nizam ad-Din Abu Muhammed İlyas b.Yusuf and whose pen name is Nizam, is considered one of the greatest masnavi writers of Iran. The date of his death is disputed between 576, 586, 598 and 602. There are the following works in his Hamsa, called Panç ganc genius.
His masnavi named Mahzan al-asrar in I.Y.1b. II.Y. Husrav-u Şirin in 36b; Layla-u Macnun in III.Y.129b; It was written in 584 (1188) and presented to Sultan Abu'l-Muzaffer Şiranşah. His masnavi named Haft Paykar in IV.Y.194b; It was dedicated to Atabag Nur ad-Din Arslan in 593 (1197). V.1 Y. 261b is his masnavi named Şaraf-nama-i İskandari; It was presented to Nur ad-Din, the successor of Kizil Arslan, approximately in 597 (1200-1201); In V.2 Y. 354b there is the second part of Iqbal-nama-i Iskandari, that is, Iskandar-nama;
