We understand from the introduction of the book that this work, which is attributed to Nashireddin Tusi, was supposedly written for Ebu'l Muzaafer bin Kazan (possibly Gazan) and that it was translated into Turkish by someone who did not mention his name and was presented to Yakub bin Devlet Khan. According to Blochet, the mention of the names of these two rulers is purely fabricated and not only was he not the son of Mahmud Gazan, but Nasir al-Din Tusi also lived during the reign of Hulagu. The work is divided into 18 chapters. |
