| Notes | The layout is illuminated, the rulers are gilded. Brown leather skin. Edge\aA***+ is a worm. Sünbül-zâde Mehmed Vehbi is the son of Reşid Efendi, one of the Maraş scholars. He served as judge and was sent to Iran as an ambassador during the reign of Abdulhamid I. At the end of his life, he lost his mind and eyes and died in 1124 (1809-10). His works named Tuhfe, Nuk'oe and Lutfiye are famous and have a composed divan. This is III. It is a Ramadan greeting ode presented to Sultan Selima. |
