Gelibolulu Mustafa b., who used the pseudonym Ali. Ahmed (d.1008/1600) has works and divan such as Menâkıb-i Hünerveran etc. He wrote this history in the last years of his life; The work is divided into four ruknes (books), the first 3 of which are the General Islamic history and the fourth is from its foundation to III. It contains Ottoman history until Mehmed II (1003/1595).
This volume is the 4th volume of Künh ül-ahbar, which includes Ottoman history.
