| Notes | The layout is illuminated, the rulers are gilded. Y. 1a also has the seal of Mahmud I. Black leather binding with miklep, embossed sunburst and corner cover. Ahmed Fevri is originally Albanian. He was taken prisoner when he was a child and was trained and educated by his owner, Pulad Bey, and became a teacher. He died in 987 (1570-71) while he was a teacher in Damascus. |
