| Notes | The silver medallion in the middle of the Y.1a lacquered floor is beautifully illuminated. A lacquered illuminated plate covering two-thirds of the page Y.1b; The title of Surah al-Fath in the middle of page Y.2a is illuminated in the same style; The spaces between the lines are decorated with red gold; Y.9a There is a large naskh written date and keteb stating that it was written for Sultan Malik al-Ashraf Kansûh al-Gavri. Y.10a has a flat lacquered plate. Lacquered skin made with mother-of-pearl powder. This volume contains only Surah Al-Fatiha and Surah Al-Fath. |
