| Notes | It was written for Sultan Ahmed I (1603-1617). Some leaves are missing at the beginning and end of the book. It contains 164 large and small Ottoman miniatures and two illuminated manuscript sheets. Cherry rotten leather binding with sunburst and gussets. It is the Turkish translation of the work called Umdet el-mülük, written by Emir Hacib Aşik Timur, made by the order of Sultan Ahmed I. The book consists of three parts: the first is about veterinary medicine, the second is about proficiency, and the third is about hunting. |
