The layout is illuminated; The verse heads are red and the rulers are gilded. It has a dark brown leather binding with miklep, gilded şemsel, corners and zenrek.
Its author is one of the most famous Ottoman scholars. As well as having many treatises and works, he also has a work called Tavârih-i Âl-i Osman.
This commentary covers the part from Surah al-Fatiha (1) to the end of Surah al-Shaffat (37).
