Notes
Miscellaneous collection of treatises on riddles, Persian language, religious polemic, lexicography, and divination by various authors. The volume is not dated, but items a, c, and g are individually dated, ranging from dates within the reign of Emperor Akbar II , 17 Jumādá II 1236-(16 Z̲ū al-Ḥijjah 1241)/22 March 1821-22 July 1826. Neat to rough scribal nastaʿlīq. Annotations and corrections in margins. Stamped foliation. Lacking original binding. Binding damaged, boards covered with marbled paper and brown leather edging; marbling delaminating and torn, exposing inner matter (possibly an Arabic religious work). Folios unbound; cropped, wormholes, later repairs. Condition fragile. This volume has been autographed several times by Muḥammad Karīm Allāh .
