Praise be to God, who has forced the eloquent people into silence with his miracle of speech and has silenced the chatter of eloquent people with his arrangement and order... And then he says: The poorest of servants to God is Abdullah bin Al-Mu’tar Billah bin Al-Mutawakkil... On God bin Muhammad Al-Mu’tasim Billah bin Al-Rashid Harun. The thought was held at two ends of a starry night. Whenever concerns came to me, it occurred to me in some thoughts to mention in a copy... the poems that the poets had written in praise of the caliphs and ministers. ...And the princes are from the Abbasids
