Our sheikh, Hujjat al-Islam, the mainstay of Sharia law, Hujjat al-Arab, and the tongue of literature, Muhib al-Din Abu al-Baqa’, Abdullah bin al-Hussein bin Abdullah al-Akbarawi, the grammarian, said... After all, he asked me to write a book that would include an explanation of the irregular recitations outside of the recitation of the ten famous ones, especially because the famous recitations were included in our book on parsing the Qur’an.
