Notes
Collection of works on Naqshbandī, Chishtī, Qādirī, Kubravī, and Suhravardī Sufism, hagiography, spiritual genealogy, and commemorative poetry. Volume not dated; item c dated (23 Rabīʿ al-Avval 1189/24 May 1775), with later portions dated as late as 7 Rabīʿ al-Avval 1207/23 October 1792. Scribal nastaʿlīq and Indian taʿlīq by the same hand. According to a note at the beginning (lower right, f. 1v) the volume was transcribed by the author. Annotations in margins. Stamped and Persian foliation. Lacking original binding. Binding, red half leather IOL covers, stamp dated 27 Sept 1916. Folios rebound, but disarranged and reoriented; cropped, wormholes, water stains, later repairs; gauze overlay on folios from the beginning and end. Condition fragile. IOL microfilm 1112.
