Notes
Miscellaneous collection of three works on Sufism. Volume not dated; datable to late seventeenth century. Awkward nastaʿlīq. Stamped and pencil foliation, original discontinuous Persian foliation. Annotations in margins, including collation marks. Lacking original binding. Loose folded paper wrapper (ledger, fragment of Acquittance Roll, dated 19 August 1831, Calcutta); watermarked (initials UEIC, J Whatman Balston & Co, 1828); torn, stained, and incomplete. Detached binding of blind tooled brown leather, damaged (Kaithi text exposed along inner edge of broken spine); labels. Folios mostly unbound; water and fungal stains, cropped, wormholes, later repairs. Condition fragile.
