Sample Text Praise be to God, the One Creator, who is responsible for the sustenance that is absolutely due to Al-Muhammad... And since most of the worldly and hereafter pleasures are found in consuming delicious food and drinks, and anointing one’s clothes and body is something that brings one closer to the beloved ones, that is why I compiled this book and called it The Link to the Beloved... in describing the good things and perfumes, and I did not put anything in it until after... I rode it repeatedly and ate it repeatedly.
