Fol. 3b.1 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and in Him is the help. Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger, Muhammad, the best of creation, and his good and pure family. I know that one of the sciences that people benefit from is the science of medicine, and it is among the political sciences, which are the most noble of the necessary sciences that are needed for the survival of the human species... So I collected the sick people’s food in these papers, trying to benefit people and seeking the face of God. He who pleases Him is the one who grants success, and He is the one who rewards with His generosity and kindness
