Notes
Collection of miscellaneous Persian works on Naqshbandi Sufism. Volume not dated; individual items dated (items a, b, c, and e), ranging 18 Shaʿbān 1000-18 Muḥarram 1007/30 May 1592-21 August 1598. Variable naskh, nastaʿlīq, and shikastah āmīz hands. Stamped foliation; the presence of Persian foliation beginning at 97 indicates this volume is a fragment of its original size. Lacks original binding. Original text cropped, cut and remounted with new margins in gutter. Folios subsequently rebound in IOL red half leather binding, stamp dated 11 Dec 1935. Folios damaged by wormholes, later repairs, gauze overlay, and stains. Labels from the earlier wrapper remounted at beginning.
