The Sheikh Imam said... Abu Al-Hasan Ala Al-Din... Ali bin Abbas Al-Baali Al-Hanbali, known as Ibn Al-Laham. Praise be to God, who paved the foundations of the religion with His revealed Book and made us among His faithful servants by following His Messenger Prophet... Now then, the science of the foundations of jurisprudence, since it was in the science of Sharia as a mediator... the discipline is intermediate between the two ranks of the branches and the science of theology. I was inspired, may God be pleased, to write a book in which I mention fundamental rules and benefits and add to each rule issues related to it from the rulings... Subsidiary... The first rule: Jurisprudence has limits
