Study of the original bindings dated from the collection of Arabic manuscripts of the Library of the School of Arabic Studies of Granada : doctoral thesis, Granada, 2014, Deteriorations: Overall, good condition of the text. The binding has come off and many folios are loose. In some folios there are galleries, stains and ink degradations that sometimes affect the text. In March 2014, researcher Sonsoles González reports the existence of fungi in the scanning electron microscope (SEM), used in the analysis of several manuscripts for the realization of the doctoral thesis material characterization and the codicological study of the Arabic manuscripts dated from the EEA collection, Distribution, Edition: González García, Sonsoles. Study of the original bindings dated from the manuscript collection of the Library of the School of Arabic Studies in Granada. Granada, 2010., Binding: Wallet with closure flap in dark brown leather and with mosaic also in dark brown leather. The decoration of the lid is formed by two corrugated wheel edges separated by intercalle decorated with a laceria. The back is smooth and the vertical cut back is decorated with floral motifs., Filigree: Bells (3) : Crown of pearls on top of an elongated folder containing capital letters from which only "CAV" and "ME" are distinguished, preceded and followed by a four-petalled flower. Below the poster is a bell that houses a nut whose interior is occupied by a four-petaled flower. Crown of five spikes atop an elongated folder whose inner contents are not appreciated. Below the poster is a bell. Crown of five spikes atop an elongated folder whose inner contents are not appreciated. Below the poster is a bell. Partial watermark of a shield. Crown of pearls on top of an elongated folder containing a few letters in capital letters of which only an "M" and a four-petaled flower are distinguished. Below the poster is a bell whose interior is crossed by two horizontal lines. Shields (2) : Oval shield flanked by a lion on either side and the interior of which houses a hollow cross. Below the shield are two circumferences arranged one below the other. The center circumference houses the digit two in Roman numerals “II”; whereas, the other circumference houses the letters “LM” in capital letters. Vase with handle from which protrudes a flower of five petals each of them finished in three small circumferences arranged in pyramidal shape. The central petal ends in another four-petaled flower. Three circumferences arranged one below the other and crowned with a hollow cross. The upper circumference houses a half moon while the central one contains the letters "LM" in capital letters and the lower a six-petaled flower., Foliation: No original foliation. - Modern pencil foliation made by Naima Anahnah (2010), H in white: 4 H in white: 5v, 6r, 55v and 101r, H missing or added: N, H loose: 19 H loose that correspond to the intervals: 1-2, 78-79, 83-67, 1967-1 111-112, 119-121 and folio 161; plus notebook 88-95. - H damaged: Several folios in the volume have galleries or breaks, but I especially note folios 81 and 82 which have a diagonal break running from the upper left margin to the middle of the folio; in addition to folio 170 which is missing the lower half and appears to have been restored earlier., Illustration: No, Material: Paper, No, Other supports: No, Patterned: No, Claims: Dry tip (almost imperceptible)., Sign. cuad.: No, Ancient signature: VOL.
