The first two folios were supplied by a different hand. The title appears on the lower edge of the text block. Two inscriptions on the two folios after colophon., Collection: Paper ; p. 238 ; modern pagination in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 22 lines per page., Description: Vowel signs ; lacking some iʻjām diacritical marks; MS in good condition, extended., Origin: Probably from the XIII century. MS is rare., Incipit: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, Chapter on mentioning the doctrines of the Qur’an in stopping on the calligraphy decree and explaining what they swore about in that. Know, may God grant us success and you, that those who were deterred by agreeing to the calligraphy decree are five, and they are Nafi’ and Abu Amr al-Kufi Asim, Hamzah, and al-Kasai..., Colophon: The Sheikh, the jurist, the Imam, the most complete scholar, the Hafiz, the one in charge of the revelation, Jamal al-Din, the Mufti of the Muslims. The one of the theologians who is a role model for the people of his time, the beauty of his era, Abu Al-Qasim, Abdul Rahman bin Al-Sheikh Al-Ajl, Abi Muhammad Abdul Majeed bin Al-Safrawi, the author, may God grant him success | Later type III (without flap) binding in brown leather.
