Notes A treatise on jinn. | Ms. codex., Title from fol. 1a., Fol. 43b has an almost completely obliterated inscription which is either an ownership statement or the name of the scribe and possibly the date of the copy., Collation: Paper ; fol. 44; catchwords; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 25 lines per page., Description: Rubricated ; written in a medium small script in black ink., Incipit: Basmala, and in Him we seek help. Say, “I seek refuge in the Lord of Creation from the evil of what He has created, from the evil of darkness when it approaches, from the evil of people who are stuck in knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies.” Explicit: The answers to your question have ended, O brothers from the jinn, so ponder over them and look carefully, and if you succeed in anything, then consult me or consult others who know, and I have answered you with the due time... and I ask forgiveness May God protect us from every sin committed by the pillars or danger to Paradise. There is no power or strength except in God, the Most High, the Great, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad and his family and companions, Amen | Type II (with flap) cover in brown leather and marbled paper.
