Praise be to God, who glorified Sha’ban with the night of its virtuous middle... As for what follows, the best hadith is a book. God and the best of Al-Hiri is the guidance of Muhammad..., Colophon: [The Book of Joy] and the completion of writing it was on the third day of the days of Tashreeq in the month of Dhul-Hijjah. May God make it good at its conclusion in the year one thousand eighty-four, and it was concluded well. May God forgive whoever completed it and to whom it was for and for all Muslims as a whole.
