In the original colophon the author states that he completed his work in Bīrah, 747 [1346]., Collation: Paper ; fol. 95 + (1); catchwords; Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 19 lines per page; frame-ruled in red., Description: Vowel signs; watermarks; MS in very good condition, first few folios slightly stained and darkened., Origin: According to colophon copied Wednesday 6 Jumādá I 1234 by Ḥasan al-Burdī (fol. 45b)., Incipit: May God make it easy, O Generous One, for the sake of Your Generous Prophet. In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and in Him I have my trust. Praise be to God for what He has bestowed, Colophon: It was completed at the hands of the poorest of God’s servants, Al-Samad, who confesses negligence, Hasan Al-Bardi, on the blessed Wednesday of the six of inanimate objects, the first of the year 1234, thirty-four, eight-hundred and one-hundred Hijra. May God forgive him his sins and cover in both worlds his faults, his sheikhs, his parents, and the Muslims, and may God’s blessings be upon our master.
