Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper with watermarks., Origin: Copied by ʻAfīfī ʻUqbah ibn al-marḥūm al-Ḥājj Muḥammad ʻUqbah and completed on the 13th of Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1283 [1867]., Incipit: Basmala, and on Him is my reliance, and He is my love. Sheikh Imam Al-Hebber said The arsonist, the investigator, the scrutinizer, our master and lord, Sheikh Qasim Al-Khani... Praise be to God, who, in His wisdom, brought down the secrets of Himself from the heaven of the unclean to the earth of universal nature, and deposited them with His ability to speak truthfully and reveal the noble properties.
