Added title at the head of fol. 2a: Alfīyah fī al-taṣawwuf lil-Ghazzī, and at the bottom of the same fol. in the same hand: “wa-maʻhā min Sharh ʻaqāʼid al-Nasafī” [?]. Two obliterated ownership statements on fol. 2a. Title "Alfīyah" written in black ink on upper cover., Collation: Paper ; fol. 45; catchwords; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 15 lines per page in two columns., Description: Rubricated ; written in an elegant medium small vocalized script; glazed paper with visible laid lines and prominent pulp., Origin: Copied by Bāqī Samarqandī in 985 (1577-8) -- colophon (fol. 44b)., Incipit: He says: I hope for a period that does not expire. Muhammad is Al-Radi ibn Al-Radi, Explicit: And from him we ask for perpetual ties connected from him with a good ending. God is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs, the best protector, and the best helper. There is no power nor strength except in God, the Most High, the Great Type II (with flap) binding in brown leather and pink paper. Pastedowns and lining to the envelope flap in cream paper.
