The sheikh, the grammarian, Abu Zaid Abd al-Rahman bin Ali al-Makudi, Colophon, said: ... and this amount is sufficient, and God knows best... That was on the blessed Sunday, the second of Dhu al-Hijjah al-Haram, in the eleventh year | Later? type II (with flap) binding in brown leather. Blind- and gold-tooled central design with pendants and decorative edging on covers. Circular design with similar tooling on flap.
