On the title page the riwāyahs appear., Collection: Paper ; fol. 159; catchwords; Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 18-21 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red., Description: Rubricated ; vowel signs; watermarks (fol. 42-159 only: unidentified mark) ; MS in poor condition; decayed and defective but with minimal loss of text. Rare., Origin: Probably from the Al-Mazali... He said, Praise be to God, the Answerer to whoever called him, and the Conciliator to whoever he intended... As for what follows, he was preceded by a group of eminent scholars..., Colophon: [The Book of Those Who Ask for Help] The Book has been completed, and praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad, his Prophet, his family, and all of his Companions - [The Book of the Lamp of Darkness], and may God’s blessings and peace be upon him and his family whenever those who remember it and forget it.
