Both texts written in the same hand., Incipit: [A Book on Knowledge] In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, my Lord, according to what Al-Hasan ibn Al-Harith Al-Mahboubi said... The most noble of sciences is after the science of monotheism... And I have explained in this book the methods of calculation in the issues of the commandments, such as calculating algebra, comparison, the Indian methods, and knowledge in ways -- [The Message of Al-Qawami] In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
