Since the lower edge of the upper cover and the upper edge of the lower cover have been cut out, the central panel is now to the tail of the upper cover and to the head of the lower cover. Brown leather over paper pasteboards with a blind-stamped and gold painted “central” mandorla with two pendants on the vertical axis. Outer frame made of blind-tooled and gold painted fillets and a running pattern. Yellow paper pastedowns. | Several ownership statements and reading notes in the name of al-Sayyid ʻAbd al-Raḥmān ibn al-Sayyid Muḥammad ibn al-Sayyid Ḥasan ..., Aḥmad ʻAlwān, etc. on fol. 1a.
