In original colophon the author states that he completed the work 1250 [1834]., Collation: Paper ; fol. (2) + 454 + (2); catchwords; requires signed: 1-46 ; foliation in ink using Hindu-Arabic numerals; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 25 lines per page., Description: Watermarks (shield with a face-in-the-moon, roman-alphabet letters "VG" ; MS in excellent condition., Origin: According to colophon copied Tuesday 14 Jumādá II 1270 by Ibrāhīm al-Jīzāwī al-Misāwī/al-Minyāwī[?] (fol. )., Incipit: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and in Him we seek help. We praise you, O God, who favors those who follow suit, Colophon: The completion of its copy occurred just before noon on the fourteenth third of Jumād al-Thānī in the year 1270, one thousand two hundred and seventy, at the hands of the poor to God Almighty, Ibrahim Al-Jizawi Al-Minyawi, may God forgive him.
