A commentary on Nuzʹhat al-naẓar by Ibn Ḥajar al-ʻAsqalānī. Praise be to God who made people in the hadith and the ancient... And then the despicable servant who stands at the foot of shortcomings and negligence says Muhammad, called Abd al-Ruf Ibn al-Manawi al-Shafi’i..., Colophon: It was copied on Sunday, the 24th of Shawwal in the year 1027 by its poor writer, Abu al-Abbas Ibn Muhammad al-Ghumari al-Nabtiti Ibn al-Jamal, to whom the sentences were pronounced. Later type III (without flap) binding in dark brown leather. Blind-stamped mandorla with pendants. Blind tooled edging. Tan paper pasteddowns.
