Abridgment of Kitāb al-Rawḍah fī al-uṣūl by Ibn al-Qudāmah (d. 620/1223). | Ms. codex., Title from title page (fol. 1a)., Physical description: 19 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red for headings. Yāʼ for alif maqṣūrah. Light cream paper, glossy, with chain lines and pulp visible; hardly translucid. The text has been collated (collation statement fol. 43b). Occasional marginal annotation. Table of contents on fol. 2a., Inscription in Arabic script on fol. 1a: "ʻUmūm 825 [next line] Uṣūl 64"., Origin: Copy completed on 2 Shaʻbān 869 [March 30, 1465] (colophon, fol. 43b, followed by five lines of poetry).
