The lives of eminent men who were the guardians of traditions and preserved them in memory, and of those who used the method of analogy, commencing with the Companions of the Prophet and concluding with Abū al-Faḍl Aḥmad ibn Ḥajar 773-853 [1372-1450]. It is an abridgment of the Ṭabaqāt al-ḥuffāẓ of al-Dhahabī, 748 [1347/8]. | Collation: Paper ; fol.
