According to the colophon, the work was composed in Ṣafar 1071 [1661], Collection: Paper ; fol. i (later paper) + 48 ; catchwords; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 25 lines per page., Description: Rubricated ; overlining and overwriting in red; watermarks (later flyleaves: coat-of-arms; text: three crescents) ; MS in good condition., Incipit: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to the one who created the various pages... Then he says... Al-Fayoumi... The question occurred and was repeated..., Colophon: The completion of its retouching was at the beginning of the month of Safar, the best month of the year one thousand and seventy-one, and praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds. Done | Later type II (with flap) binding in golden brown leather and red and blue marbled paper. Blind-tooled edging on covers and flap.
